Record a movie in QuickTime Thespian on Mac

You can make a movie using the born camera on your Mac or using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. When you make a film, recording controls appear that allow you to start recording, control the volume, and choose recording options.

Utilize the built-in photographic camera on your Mac

1. In the QuickTime Thespian app on your Mac, cull File > New Movie Recording.

   When the recording controls appear, you see a green light next to the born camera in your Mac.

   Tip: If your Mac doesn't take a born camera, you can connect an external camera.

2. Click the Options popular-up menu, then choose any of the post-obit recording options:

   • Photographic camera: Cull a camera if y'all have more than i camera available.

   • Microphone: Choose a microphone if yous have more i microphone available.

   • Quality: Choose the recording quality. Maximum-quality recordings produce uncompressed files, which can utilize large amounts of storage infinite.

3. Adjust the volume control to hear the audio you're recording.

5. Cull File > Salve to save and proper name the recording.

1. Connect your device to your Mac.

2. Open the QuickTime Player app on your Mac.

3. Choose File > New Movie Recording.
