Record a movie in QuickTime Thespian on Mac
You can make a movie using the born camera on your Mac or using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. When you make a film, recording controls appear that allow you to start recording, control the volume, and choose recording options.

In the QuickTime Thespian app on your Mac, cull File > New Movie Recording.
